Woman allegedly behe@ded by man who took her to hotel in Adamawa

A woman has been allegedly killed and beheaded by a man who took her to a hotel in Girei, a community near Yola,the Adamawa State capital.

The incident reportedly occurred on Friday afternoon after the man and the woman were heard arguing inside the hotel room.

According to sources, people nearby became alarmed after hearing sounds of a fight coming from the room. They reportedly forced their way inside and found the woman lying in a pool of blood with a deep cut to her neck.

The suspect was subsequently apprehended by members of the public, who alerted the police. Officers arrived at the scene and took over the case, while the victim’s remains were removed from the hotel.

The identity of the deceased woman has yet to be fully established.

The Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, who was contacted shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Friday, confirmed the incident.

The circumstances surrounding the alleged killing remain under investigation.
