Nollywood actress and activist Iyabo Ojo has responded to several allegations made against her and members of her family, insisting that anyone making accusations must provide evidence to back their claims.
Ojo, in a strongly worded statement, said her family would never deliberately publish false information on social media, urging those in doubt to verify any public notices issued by them.
“Anyone who alleges must prove. No one is above the law. Don’t be deceived. The law and justice will take its full course,” she said.
The actress also criticised people who claim to have evidence against others without making the alleged proof available for public verification.
She said, “It’s 2026. Please stop believing anyone who comes online to manipulate grown adults like you, saying, ‘I have proof, I have evidence,’ without ever showing or posting the evidence for you to verify for yourself.”
Ojo further explained that activism has always been an important part of her life, stressing that she has no regrets about standing up for people she believed needed her support.
“I was never just an ordinary actress or celebrity. Activism has been, and will always be, a part of me. I have NO regrets. I repeat, I have NO regrets helping and fighting for those I fought for,” she said.
She added that although she would still stand up for others if given another opportunity, she has chosen not to bring such matters to social media anymore.
According to Ojo, the criticism and attacks against her and her family are connected to her history of activism.
“All this noise these miscreants call ‘attacks’ is as a result of my activism. And I honestly have no regrets because I have stood on the right path,” she said.
The actress also expressed confidence in her faith, saying no one could rewrite her story or that of her children despite attempts to defame, manipulate or twist the narrative surrounding her family.
“No one is bigger than God, and hence no one can rewrite my story or that of my kids. No matter how hard they plot, curse, defame, manipulate, twist and bark,” she stated.
Ojo also reassured fans and loved ones who may be concerned about the allegations, saying her family remained in God’s hands.
“To be clear to all those, our amazing fans and loved ones who are truly worried, please be at peace. God is in control,” she said.
She maintained that her family had continued to make progress and would remain focused on moving forward in line with their faith.
The actress concluded by reiterating that her family would never knowingly post fake information on social media, urging the public to verify the information themselves.
“There is NO WAY — I repeat, NO WAY — we would ever post anything on social media that is fake. It’s a public notice. You can go verify it if you are in denial,” she said.
Ojo also thanked her fans and loved ones for their continued support, adding, “I love you and appreciate you.”
