Doctors have taken to X to share some of the hilarious and unusual complaints they hear from patients during consultations.

The discussion was sparked by a post from a doctor, Dr E, who noted that some presenting complaints can be so unexpected that doctors need a moment to process them.

“E get the kind presenting complaint you go hear, you go just reboot your laptop first,” the doctor wrote.

Joining the conversation, Dr Elaunire recalled a patient who told them, “Doctor, my whole body dey do me like say no be me get am.”

Another doctor, Fòn Corleone, shared a different experience, quoting a patient who said, “If I dey waka, e be like say dem dey push me.”

The doctors’ posts offered a humorous glimpse into their experiences at work, while also showing how patients often use everyday expressions to describe unusual or difficult-to-explain symptoms.
