The couple reaffirmed their love and commitment to each other during the vow renewal ceremony, with Stan reflecting on how their relationship has grown since they first exchanged vows five years ago.
Speaking during the ceremony, Stan said he was not simply repeating the vows he made five years ago but renewing them with a deeper understanding of their marriage.
He said, “I'm not just repeating the vows that I made five years ago. I'm making them with a deeper understanding. My sweetness has been five years of sweetness, joy, bliss, harmony. It's been five years of your endless love to me.
“I vow to you again, bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh. I never want to become so familiar with you that I stop discovering and honoring you. I will be by your side in sickness and health.
“I do it again and again and again, till death do us part.”
