A woman identified as Deborah Savior, also known as Deborah Sylvia, has admitted knowing that her former boyfriend was an a+med r%bber but denied participating in any of his r%bbery operations.
Deborah made the disclosure during questioning in a TV Platinum video shared on October 14, 2026, following reports that she was apprehended alongside seven suspected members of an a+med r%bbery gang.
Explaining how she obtained one of the phones allegedly stolen by the gang, she said her former boyfriend gave it to her after they had stopped dating.
“It was the guy I was dating that gave me one of his phones that they stole,” she said, claiming she only discovered that the device was stolen when she was arrested.
When asked whether she knew her boyfriend was an a+med r%bber, Deborah replied, “Okay, I know.” However, she admitted that she never reported him to the authorities.
According to her account, the man contacted her after they had been apart for some time, saying he had not seen her in a long while. He then invited her to visit him with her son, during which he gave her the phone.
Deborah also disclosed that her first boyfriend was imprisoned over a r%bbery-related offence, claiming she only learnt about his actions after seeing them reported on television.
Asked when she realised the phone she received was stolen, she replied, “When they arrested me.”
She further denied accompanying her former boyfriend to remove the phone’s International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number, insisting that she had never followed him to carry out such an operation.
The identities of the seven other suspects, the security agency responsible for the arrests and the specific allegations against Deborah had not been publicly confirmed at the time of reporting.
