Big Brother Naija Season 11 winner, Temitope Chibue, popularly known as Temi Nkem, has revealed plans to invest her prize money, support her parents and set aside some funds for personal enjoyment.
The 21-year-old reality star disclosed this in an interview with Naomi Chima, explaining that she intends to manage her winnings wisely rather than spend everything at once.
Temi, who studied accounting and finance and obtained an additional qualification in treasury, said she plans to invest a substantial portion of the money to grow her wealth and secure her future.
“I’m going to invest it, and at the same time, I’m also going to invest in my future. I’m also going to give some to my parents. I’m going to spoil them a little bit. And obviously, I’m going to spend on myself. I need a little treat for myself,” she said.
The BBNaija winner also expressed excitement over her victory, revealing that she never expected to emerge winner because she had been told that contestants coming from abroad had little chance of winning the reality show.
Despite the doubts, Temi said she chose to enjoy the experience and remain true to herself, ultimately proving her critics wrong.
She attributed her success to faith, prayer and determination, adding that her immediate priorities include furthering her education and making money.
