Martins alleged that Emmanuel’s action exposed her to threatening calls and messages from people accusing her of having an affair with a married man.
Speaking with Saturday PUNCH, she said she had been unable to leave her home since the controversy erupted online, adding that members of her family had also received threats.
“I can barely sleep at night. My phones have to be on DND because he doxxed my two numbers for bullying,” she said.
Martins alleged that the threats began after Emmanuel publicly accused her of harassment, stalking and attempts to damage his reputation and marriage.
Emmanuel had acknowledged having a sexual relationship with Martins, claiming the affair began on May 9, 2026, after he told her that he was married and was looking for a “side chick.”
However, Martins denied knowing that he was married when they met, saying they connected through a dating application where he allegedly presented himself as seeking a “long-term relationship” and a “life partner.”
She said she ended the relationship in August after becoming suspicious that Emmanuel was involved with another woman.
According to Martins, the online dispute escalated after Emmanuel published her telephone numbers, leading to what she described as a barrage of threats against her and her family.
“I can’t step outside since Thursday when he did all this online. I’m scared for my life because a lot of numbers he sent are threatening me, and my life is practically in danger right now,” she said.
Martins said she is suing Emmanuel for alleged defamation and endangerment, adding that she wants him to clear her name and compensate her for the damage she said the controversy had caused.
She said her lawyers would determine the amount being sought, including expenses related to therapy.
Efforts to reach Emmanuel for his reaction were unsuccessful, as calls and text messages sent to his telephone line went unanswered as of press time.
