Ahmad, in a post on his verified X handle, sarcastically told the singer to wait for United States President Donald Trump to deploy troops to Nigeria to help his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, retain the Osun governorship seat.
His comment came after Davido on Tuesday appealed to Trump to pay attention to the August 15, 2026, governorship election in Osun State.
Reacting to the singer’s appeal, the former presidential aide wrote, “Will you not wait for President Trump to send troops and help your uncle win the election?”
Davido and Ahmad have engaged in a series of exchanges on social media in recent times, with both men trading criticisms over political issues.
Ahmad had previously expressed confidence that Davido would return to X to complain about the outcome of the Osun governorship election.
