The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 36-year-old woman, Anulika Onyeanusia, over an alleged case of child pornography in Onitsha, following the circulation of a disturbing video involving a minor.
The suspect was arrested on September 10, 2026, after police operatives acted on open-source intelligence concerning the video, according to the Command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga.
During the operation, police rescued four children aged two, three, six and nine. Operatives also recovered sex toys and other items believed to be relevant to the ongoing investigation.
The suspect remains in police custody as investigators work to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged offence and determine whether other individuals were involved.
Her husband is also being questioned by the police to ascertain whether he has any connection to the alleged offence.
