“A lot of women in entertainment are pr%stitutes” — Content Creator Mummy Wa alleges

Content creator Mummy Wa has sparked discussion after alleging that many women in the entertainment industry engage in prostitution, while questioning how some female entertainers and social media personalities generate the money they flaunt online.

She made the controversial remark during an episode of the Unserious Podcast, where she featured alongside skitmaker Zic Aloma and streamer Phyna. The guests were discussing the different ways women in the entertainment space make money apart from their activities on social media.

During the conversation, Mummy Wa questioned the source of income of some women, asking, “What is the source of income?”

She then claimed, “A lot of women in the entertainment industry are pr%stitutes.”

Explaining her position, the content creator said she was familiar with the amount of money content creators could make because she is also in the industry.

“I am a content creator as well, I know how much we are making! Like if you go viral the money will just come like that? It’s a lie,” she said.

When another participant pointed out that some women could receive financial support from men simply because of their beauty, popularity or lifestyle, Mummy Wa questioned what they offered in return for such financial assistance.

She asked, “What are you doing to make the man happy? Let them show us their investment.”
