Nigerian gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba has broken his silence following the d+ath of his colleague, Olayemi Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, paying an emotional tribute to the late singer.
Toluwanisings’ final ministration took place at Olaoba’s worship service in Ibadan, Oyo State, shortly before his passing. He reportedly collapsed at his home the following day, amid reports that several hospitals turned him away.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Olaoba said the loss had left an immeasurable void, expressing regret that he did not spend more time with his colleague during their last encounter.
“If only I had known that your last ministration would be your final one before you joined the saints in glory, I would have held you a little longer, embraced you a little tighter, and given you the entire night to praise your God and pour out your heart before Him, just as you loved to do,” he wrote.
The singer also reflected on Toluwanisings’ legacy, saying that although his time on earth had ended, the impact of his ministry would continue to live on.
