Blueface arrested again in Los Angeles over alleged failure to cooperate with police

American rapper Blueface has been arrested again in Los Angeles after allegedly failing to cooperate with law enforcement officers investigating a reported firearm threat that was later determined to have originated from a false emergency call.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office, the rapper was taken into custody on Monday night in Santa Clarita and booked into the county jail on suspicion of delaying a police investigation.

Authorities said deputies responded to an emergency call at about 7:43 p.m. reporting that a man was pointing a firearm at someone inside a business in Valencia, a neighbourhood in Santa Clarita.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers detained several individuals, including Blueface. However, the rapper allegedly refused to comply with deputies' instructions, leading to his arrest.

Further investigation reportedly revealed that the emergency call was a swatting incident, a practice involving the deliberate submission of a false emergency report to trigger a police response, often involving armed officers.

The latest arrest adds to Blueface's ongoing legal troubles. The rapper is currently on probation after pleading guilty in connection with a 2022 shooting involving another man in Las Vegas.

Despite his legal challenges, Blueface recently made headlines for his personal life after becoming engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Chrisean Rock.
