‘Nobody should post my daddy’ – Late actor Diewait Ikpechukwu’s daughter warns AGN

Chiamaka, daughter of late Nollywood veteran actor Diewait Ikpechukwu, has appealed to the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to take down its social media post announcing her father's d+ath.

GNG reports that Diewait Ikpechukwu d+ed on Thursday after losing his battle to an undisclosed illness. Read Here.

This came a few hours after news of the actor's passing at the age of 71 was reported.

In an emotional video, Chiamaka pleaded with the guild and other social media users to stop sharing news of her father's d+ath, insisting that she wanted to be given the opportunity to make the announcement herself.

Fighting back tears, she disclosed that she was still wearing her father's shirt and described the situation as extremely difficult for her.

She also appealed to people not to call her or share further posts about her father's passing, asking them to respect the family's privacy during the difficult period.

“Please, nobody should post my daddy. Nobody should call me. Please, take that post down. Let me be the one to announce anything about my papa,” she said.
