Usher, Chris Brown reportedly clash backstage over delayed Atlanta concert

Usher, Chris Brown reportedly clash backstage over delayed Atlanta concert

American singers Usher and Chris Brown have reportedly engaged in a heated argument backstage ahead of their joint concert in Atlanta on Thursday night, contributing to a delay of nearly three hours.

According to sources cited by TMZ, the disagreement centred on whether to begin the performance while fans were still arriving amid heavy traffic around the venue.

While Usher reportedly wanted the show to proceed as scheduled, Brown preferred to wait until more concertgoers had arrived and taken their seats.

The disagreement allegedly escalated into an exchange of words, with one source claiming that the two singers had been highly competitive throughout their joint R&B Tour.

Sources attributed the latest dispute to “egos” and disclosed that the singers had yet to resolve their differences.

However, they reportedly expressed confidence that the disagreement would not affect the continuation of the tour.

The delayed performance sparked criticism from fans who had waited for several hours for the concert to begin.

Usher and Brown were scheduled to perform in Atlanta again on Friday night.

The reported disagreement comes after the singers were involved in another confrontation at Brown's birthday celebration in 2023.

TMZ reported at the time that Usher intervened after Brown allegedly began shouting at singer Teyana Taylor.
