Veteran Nollywood actor Antar Laniyan has said he would walk away from any gathering where his friends speak negatively about President Bola Tinubu, insisting that the president has not done anything wrong to him personally.
The actor made his position known while explaining how he responds to conversations involving criticism of the Nigerian leader.
According to Laniyan, he prefers to leave such discussions rather than participate in them, adding that he would maintain the same stance even if Tinubu eventually did something he considered wrong.
“If you are my friend and you talk badly about President Tinubu in a gathering, I will walk away because he has not done anything bad to me. Even if he does, I will still walk away,” he said.
His comments reflect his personal position on discussions about the president and have drawn attention to his approach to political criticism among friends.
