Late Sisi Quadri was g@y, had several husbands, journalist Abere alleges

Nigerian journalist Abere has alleged that late Nollywood actor Sisi Quadri was gay, had several male partners and never married a woman before his death.

The journalist made the claims while speaking about the late actor, whose private life he said was largely unknown to the public.

During the interview, Abere was asked whether it was true that Sisi Quadri had no biological children. He confirmed the claim, alleging that the actor never had a wife and was not attracted to women.

He said, “Yes, he did not, but people don’t know he didn’t. Even he didn’t have a wife at all and he didn’t really like women.”

Abere further claimed that the actor's frequent portrayal of female characters in Yoruba movies reflected his personality outside the screen.

He added, “His character that he is always acting like a woman is how he is in real life. He didn’t like women at all, he admired men a lot and that's why he didn’t even marry or have any child.”

Speaking about the children often identified as Sisi Quadri's, the journalist alleged that they were actually the children of the actor's siblings.

“The children we are all seeing and people are claiming are his children are children of his siblings,” he claimed.

Abere also alleged that the late actor had several male partners, whom he described as his husbands, adding that only people close to him knew about his alleged relationships.

“He even had a lot of husbands. Only people that were close to him knew about this,” he said.

Sisi Quadri, who was widely known for his comic roles and distinctive performances in Yoruba movies, d+ed in March 2024.

The claims about the late actor's sexuality, relationships and family life remain allegations made by Abere.
